The 4th. From the tee the fairway rolls out flat and straight to the green. Up the bush covered slope to your left, running parallel to the fairway is the old Buchan Railway line, now the Formartine & Buchan Way. It is very popular with walkers and cyclists alike, so vigilance is required should you stray there and out of bounds. A ditch to the right separating the 4th and 9th fairways runs all the way to a water hazard, but a patch of ruff should slow down any wayward shot that may head in that direction. The green is open with a slightly raised contour at the front, bunkers to the left and right and a raised mound at the rear. The 5th tees are directly behind.
